Hi, I’m Jen!
I am a graduate of West Chester University with a Marketing degree. I’m a mom of three crazy, amazing children, a dedicated friend, and an ambitious business chick. I am originally from New Jersey, but moved to Key Largo, FL for several years where I met my husband. Careers then moved us up to the DC area. The Shenandoah Valley has been our home for about 10 years now, and it is here that I have launched a successful real estate career, followed by the creation of Jenspiration, LLC!
Over the past 2 years, I have created over 400 short videos, ranging from real estate house tours to interviews with the homeless for a nonprofit fundraiser. My videos are the perfect format for posting on all social media outlets, and have recently begun to be featured in our local online newspaper, the Royal Examiner. My videos can build new partnerships, educate the community, and be nice content for news venues if leveraged properly.
The services that Jenspiration offers are meant to be affordable to everyone. My specialty is 2-3 minute videos that can be edited, allowing for a more polished look than Facebook LIVE broadcasts. With my marketing background, corporate sales experience (including intense Verizon yellowpage ad design training), and my recent real estate career, promotional video production is SO MUCH FUN, and a perfect fit for me. It allows me to utilize my cumulative expertise to help a huge variety of clients! In addition to producing videos, I provide instruction on “what to do now” with the files. Coming from a family of teachers, I naturally have patience and excitement for slowly explaining the “how to’s” of downloading, uploading, boosting and much more.
Fun Fact: Why the name “Jenspiration?”
As I mentioned, I am a Realtor. Although I do not currently sell houses, it was not that long ago that I was on a top producing team in Warren County. Being upbeat and positive (especially in a tough industry like Real Estate) is something I truly strove for every day. One of my colleagues could not believe I was being “real” with some of my silly antics. After I gave her a pep talk one day, she told me that she had just been “Jenspired!” How fun! Later, when looking for a pick me up, we called it needing some “Jenspiration!” When I was trying to come up with a name for my business a while later, “Jenspiration” naturally suggested itself, and it fit perfectly!
Memorable Photography Moment:
Creating art through photography started as a hobby, but evolved into a job during my college years, when I landed a job as the sports photographer for the school newspaper. One of my most memorable moments involving photography happened right around the turn of the millennium. I was the Communications Manager at a private resort with the task of club photographer in my job description, and I was sent on stage with Ray Charles to capture his performance during “Concert on the Green” at Ocean Reef Club! Wish I had easier video options back then…
